William Gorsuch, Sr.

William Arthur Gorsuch, Sr., age 76, of Warfordsburg, Pa., died on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at his home.

Born Monday, January 6, 1941 in Baltimore City, Md., he was the son of the late Arthur L. Gorsuch and Hazel J. (Brooks) Gorsuch, and the husband of Christine E. (Lovett) Gorsuch.

He graduated from Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical Senior High School, in Baltimore, Md.

He retired from The Home Center, in Hancock, Md. Prior to that, he was the owner of Hampden TV Service, in Baltimore.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Allen R. Gorsuch and William Arthur Gorsuch, Jr., both of Hagerstown, Md.; one sister, Gerry Laucht, of Baltimore, Md.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Lynn Gorsuch.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 30, 2017, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be private.
