William Berry “Bill” Barnes, age 71, of Hancock, died Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the home of friends, Tommy and Tammy Puckett, near Hancock.

Born June 8, 1941, he was formerly employed as a security guard by St. Mary Ritz Security, in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Bill was a 1959 graduate of North Hagerstown High; a life member of the NRA; and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his dog, Lucky.

Services and interment will be private.
