Shirley Marie Ray

Shirely Marie Ray, 86, of Warfordsburg, PA, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, PA.

Born Monday, June 3, 1940, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Weimer and Amanda Sowers.

Shirley was a graduate of Flintstone Schools. She attended the First Evangelical Methodist Church, Little Orleans, MD. She loved her grand and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her time dancing and praying.

She is survived by her sister Jane Alexander; two sons, Allen Wilt (Patricia) and Paul Ray (Becky) both of Buck Valley, PA; two daughters, Christine Flesher (Thurman) of Inwood, WV, and Verronica Divelbliss (Leonard) of Buck Valley, PA; nine grandchildren, Brandon Clingerman, Maddison Wilt, Callie Wilt, Zeke Younker, Bobbi Younker, Heather Carbaugh, Jessica Munson, Waylon Ray, and Winston Ray; twenty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Pete Weimer and one sister, Lorraine Bloom.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, MD 21750.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, 11:00a.m., at Buck Valley Christian Church Cemetery, 2281 Harmonia Rd, Warfordsburg, PA 17267. Pastor Dick Bernhard will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the family to defray funeral expenses to Verronica Divelbliss, 2986 Buck Valley Road, Warfordsburg, PA 17267.
