Sharon Elaine (Davis) Hendershot, age 71, of Warfordsburg, Pa., died on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at her home.

Born January 21, 1946, in Westernport, Md., she was the daughter of Rev. Alice (Bray) Davis, of Warfordsburg, and the late Rev. George Davis, and the wife of Kenneth L. Hendershot, Sr., whom she married March 4, 1991.

She was a homemaker, and a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

She was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church, in Warfordsburg.

For many years she had worked at the London Fog factory, in Hancock.

In addition to her husband and mother, Sharon is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Weddle, of Belmont, N.C., Sheryl Younker, of Warfordsburg, and Alice “Mikki” Lyons and her husband, Kevin, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; three sons, Brian Hendershot, of Oklahoma, Gary Hendershot, of Hawaii, and Kenneth L. Hendershot, Jr., of Berkeley Springs; a brother, Rev. William Davis, of Warfordsburg; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Davis.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the Faith Assembly of God Church, 3297 Rice Road, Warfordsburg, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Delmas F. Bard officiating. Burial will follow in the Jerusalem Christian Church cemetery, in Warfordsburg.
