Sammy Herman Strait

Sammy Herman Strait, age 69, of Warfordsburg, PA, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at his home.

Born Monday, January 31, 1955, in Berkeley Springs, WV, he was the son of Izella Barnes and the late Herman Strait and the late Johnnie Barnes.

Sammy is survived by his wife Kathryn Strait; three sons, Jason Strait and significant other Miranda, Kevin Strait and wife Amy, Joe Kocher and wife Judy; one daughter, Tina Zimmerman and significant other Andy; twenty-four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Debby Smith, Linda Barling and Jake Strait.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Herman Strait.

Sammy loved to fish, paint, and spend time with his family.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
