Roger Allen Weller, age 67, of Needmore, Pa., died on Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Winchester Medical Center, in Winchester, Va.

Born February 5, 1948, he was the son of the late Ralph Preston and Vera Truax Weller.

He attended Southern Fulton Schools, and received his GED.

He was a former member of the Mountain State Cruisers, and was a member of the NRA.

He retired in 2010, after 36 years working for Southern States as a truck driver for fuel delivery. He had also been employed with the former Highway Petroleum.

He had a great sense of humor and loved sharing jokes with others, especially those Kolen and Aubri told him. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and watching westerns. Roger enjoyed talking to others and was a wonderful, loving, and devoted husband, dad, and pap pap.

He is survived by his wife, Debra A. Crawford Weller; five daughters, Amanda Weller and companion, Anthony, of Chambersburg, Pa., Danette Lake and husband, Coty, of Surf City, N.Car., Wilma Jones, of Illinois, Tammy Duncan and husband, Donnie, of Illinois, and Vicki Aud and husband, John, of Illinois; two brothers, Preston Weller, and Boyd Weller, both of Needmore; two sisters, Phyllis Snyder, of Wood, Pa., and Edna Dickey, of Needmore; thirteen grandchildren, Kolen, Aubri, Kinsley, Ryan, Jeanie, Andrew, Sophie, Timothy, Nathan, Justin, Austin, Tulsa and Logan; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Lena Kerns.

A service will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at Antioch Christian Church, 7902 Timber Ridge Road, Big Cove Tannery, Pa. Rev. William Swope will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock, Md., on Monday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m., and at the Church on Tuesday, from 10 until 11 a.m.

The family requests that, to help defray funeral expenses, memorial donations may be made to the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. 21750.
