Robert Isaac “Ike” Myers, age 75, of Hancock, Md., died on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at his home.
Born July 23, 1941, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Paul H. and Marie E. (Divelbliss) Myers.
He was a 1959 graduate of Hancock High School.
He was a retired Lab Technician from the Maryland State Highway Administration Lab, in Hancock.
He was a member of the Hancock United Methodist Church, and the Tonoloway Rod and Gun Club, and the National Rifle Assoc.
He is survived by one son, Eric Robert Myers, of Hagerstown, Md.; and two brothers, Ronnie Myers, of Funkstown, Md., and Joseph Myers, of Baltimore, Md.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Suder; and two brothers, Paul and Gene Myers.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, in Hancock, from 6 until 8:00 p.m.
Services will be held on Friday, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hancock United Methodist Church, 170 West Main Street, Hancock. Rev. Michael Bynum will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, on Resley Road, in Hancock.
The family would like to give special thanks to caregivers, Cookie Manning, Pannell Bishop and Carolyn Myers.
