Robert L. (Rob) Fleegle, age 52, of Warfordsburg, Pa., passed away on Saturday April 18, 2020 at his home.
Born October 12, 1967, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., he was the son of George R. (Bob) and Gloria L. (Younker) Fleegle, of Hancock, Md.
Rob was employed at D&H Paving, in Hagerstown, Md.; and was an amazing mechanic ever since his teen years. He was a lover of all things named “Ford,” especially Mustangs. He enjoyed helping his dad and brother race cars at the Mason Dixon Dragway. Rob had a talent for drawing pictures of cars, and he liked to assemble classic car models. He was a collector of matchbox cars.
In addition to his parents, Rob is survived by two sisters, Lori Smith and her husband, Darren, of Hancock, and Stacey Buser, of Needmore, Pa.; one brother, George Fleegle and his wife, Sherry, of Hancock; two sons, Corey Golden, of Warfordsburg, Pa., and Lincoln Robert Fleegle, of Hancock; four nieces, Ashley, Megan, Courtney and Skylar; and three nephews, Brandon, Bailey and Bentley. Rob also leaves behind five Chihuahuas whom he loved dearly, Lug Nut, Beaner, Lil Girl, Puppy and Daisy.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon Fleegle; a son, Robert L. Fleegle, Jr.; and a brother, Terry Fleegle.
Private services will be held after the stay-at-home order is lifted.
