Reva Ivadeen Bottenfield Smith, age 90, of Warfordsburg, Pa., went to be with her Lord on November 5, 2014.

She was born January 11, 1924, in Brush Creek Township, a daughter of the late Chester and Edith Clark Bottenfield.

On August 16, 1942, she married Lloyd Scott Smith, who preceded her in death on March 13, 1992.

She graduated from Warfordsburg High School in 1941.

She was a farmer; a homemaker; and had been employed at London Fog in Hancock, Md.

She was a member of the Warfordsburg United Methodist Church, where she served as secretary/treasurer for many years. Reva enjoyed baking, cooking, painting, doing puzzles and eating banana popsicles with her grandchildren.

She is survived by four sons, Daniel Smith and wife, Linda, Jay Smith and wife, Colleen, Arthur Smith and wife, Cheryl, all of Warfordsburg, and Joe Smith and wife, Jan, of Loveland, Co.; three sisters, Emma Gingrich, of Crystal Spring, Pa., Estaline Powell and husband, Lloyd, of Kearneysville, W.Va., and Dolores Blubaugh and husband, Glen, of Greencastle, PA; one brother, Chester Lee Bottenfield and wife, Carrie, of Cupertino, Ca.; nine grandchildren, Aaron, Justin, Stephanie, Nathaniel, Kimberly, Scott, Lisa, Jessica and Christi; and five great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard Bottenfield.

A service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014, at 1:00 p.m., at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 3013 Pleasant Grove Road, Warfordsburg, Pa. Rev. Frank Kocek and Rev. Denver A. Plessinger will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., on Sunday, from 3 to 6 p.m., and at the Church on Monday from 12 to 1 p.m.
