Mary Virginia Booth

Mary Virginia Booth, age 82, of Warfordsburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

Born Saturday, March 18, 1944, in Little Orleans, MD, she was the daughter of the late William and Maysel Ketterman Trail.

Mary was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Hancock, MD.

She was a dedicated homemaker to her loving family.

Mary is survived by one son, Donald Booth and wife Laurie of Ft. Worth, TX; one daughter, Christine Hoag and husband James of Avon, IN; one grandson, Joseph Booth of Walnutport, PA; one sister, Marie Clingerman of Warfordsburg, PA; and one brother, Milford Trail of Buck Valley, PA.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd Charles Booth; two brothers, Melvin and Merle Trail; and one sister, Madeline Trail.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 11:00a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, 3738 Resley Rd, Hancock, MD. Pastor Kenneth Stottlemyer will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s name can be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Hancock, MD.
