Loretta Jane Romberger, age 73, of Clear Spring, Md., died on June 26, 2016 at her home.

Born August 3, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Goldie Weller Shoemaker.

She graduated from Hancock High School in 1960, and was of the Baptist faith.

She had been employed as an operator with AT&T.

She is survived by three children, Paul Richard Hart, of Greencastle, Pa., Vicki Lynn McCusker, of Hagerstown, Md., and Rodney K. Hart, of Hagerstown, Md.; two sisters, Priscilla Keefer, of Big Cove Tannery, Pa., and Lucille Garland, of Warfordsburg, Pa.; two grandchildren, Beth Ann Weaver and Joshua Paul Jacob Hart; and five great-grandchildren, Alyson Dakotah Weaver, Drake Christopher Weaver, Parker Antonio Paul Hart, Jacob Lorinzo Allen Hart, and Corline Anne Hart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gil Romberger; and a brother, Alphonso Shoemaker.

Funeral services will be held at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.  Rev. Harry Strite will officiate. Interment will follow at the Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery, 14904 Orchard Ridge Road, Hancock, Md.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
