Lois Patricia "Bobbi" McFarland, went to be with her Lord on Friday, March 13, 2015, surrounded by loved ones, at her home, after a long courageous battle with cancer and multiple sclerosis.

Born July 30, 1947, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late David and Jean Williams Robinson.

Lois is survived by her husband of 25 years, Donald P. McFarland, of Little Orleans; four daughters, Pamela Huizing and husband, Mark, Angela Crew and husband, David, Alysa Love and husband, Torrey, and Angela Robinson; four sisters, Beverly Bell, Susan Haynes, Vivian Washington, and Barbara Rucker; four brothers, Robert Carbaugh, David Robinson, Clarence Robinson, and Charles Robinson; step-mother, Vivian Robinson; two granddaughters; six grandsons; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by one son, James Lucas, Jr.

Lois attended North Street School and graduated from Hagerstown Junior College in 1979. She received her Nursing diploma in August, 1979, and passed the State Boards in October, 1979.

Bobbi was a true people-person. She had a special place in her heart for her dogs, gardening, and being outdoors with nature. She was a proud Army wife.

She was a member of Piney Plains United Methodist Church, in Little Orleans.

A service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at 3:00 p.m., at the Piney Plains United Methodist Church, 12708 Faith Circle N.E., Little Orleans, Md. Rev. John Close will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., on Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and at the Church on Sunday from 2 until 3 p.m.

The family requests that memorial contributions, in her name, may be made to the John Marsh Cancer Center, 11110 Medical Campus Road, Suite 129, Hagerstown, Md. 21742-6710, or to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, Md. 21742
