Linda Limon Hofe

Linda Limon Hofe, born June 14, 1953, in Big Spring, Texas, passed away on October 14, 2026, in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.

Linda was a devoted and loving mother, proud grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family was the center of her life. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tom Hofe, and their five children: Michele Mellott of Berkeley Springs, WV; Nathan Hofe of Hedgesville, WV; Becky Lockhart of Hancock, MD; John Henry Hofe of Berkeley Springs, WV; and Matthew Hofe of Berkeley Springs, WV. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy.

Linda took great pride in supporting her children's activities, interests, and hobbies. She was always there to encourage them, cheer them on, and celebrate their accomplishments. Her love and dedication were evident in the many ways she cared for those around her.

An animal lover at heart, Linda had a special affection for animals and an appreciation for the comfort and companionship they brought. She was also an avid baker and cook who enjoyed preparing food for her family and loved ones. Through her cooking and baking, she shared her love in a way that brought people together and created lasting memories.

Linda will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her generous spirit, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who knew and loved her. Though she is no longer with them, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in their hearts forever.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, MD 21750.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's name can be made to your local Human Society.
