Lewis Edward Mason

Lewis Edward Mason, age 52, of Mercersburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, in Boonsboro, MD.

Born Friday, September 28, 1973, in McConnellsburg, PA, he was the son of Carol Mongan.

He was a forklift operator for XPO Logistics in Greencastle, PA.

Most of all, Lewis enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Mongan of Mercersburg, PA; two sons, Johnathan Mason and Gage Richardson, both of Mercersburg, PA; two granddaughters, Lyra A. Mason and Astrid E. Mason, both of Virginia; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lewis was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Vada Mason.

A gathering of friends will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 12:00p.m. to 1:00p.m. at Orchard Ridge First Church of God, 14128 Orchard Ridge Road, Hancock, MD 21750, followed by a 1:00p.m. celebration of life church service. Pastor Jeff Hawbaker will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lewis’ name can be made to the Heart and Diabetes Association (www.heart.org or American Diabetes Association) or the Orchard Ridge First Church of God.
