Larry Conrad, Sr.

Artemas, Pennsylvania

Larry Allen Conrad, Sr., age 67, of Artemas, Pa., passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at his home.

Born Tuesday, January 24, 1950, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., he was the son of the late Earl and Savannah G. (Clingerman) Conrad, and the loving husband of Robin (Snyder) Conrad, whom he was married to for forty-six years.

He had been employed as a mechanic at the Ford Motor Company, in Hancock, Md.

He loved spending time with his family and friends; hunting and fishing; and he was an avid Nascar fan.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jerry M. Conrad and Michelle Davis, of Everett, Pa.; a daughter, Joyce A. Plake, of Artemas; grandchildren, Logan and Allen Conrad, Robin Lynn Plake, and Josie Davis; five brothers, Woodrow, Clifford, Leroy, Jack and Charlie Conrad; and three sisters, Elaine Kile, Carol Godwin, and Sharlene Eader.

In addition to both of his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry Allen Conrad, Jr.; and a sister, Linda D. Smith.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock, Md., on Thursday, October 5, 2017, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Milton E. Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Christian Cemetery, in Artemas.
