Kenneth Shotting, Sr.

Kenneth Frederic Shotting, Sr., 84, of Moon Township , PA. and New Smyrna Beach , FL., died on February 21 in Jacksonville , FL., after suffering from complications following open heart surgery. He was born October 19, 1925 in Hancock , MD.

Mr. Shotting is survived by his spouse, Jean Cochrane.  A loving husband to the late Sarah T. Shotting, he is also survived by their six children; Kenneth F. Shotting, Jr., Karen M. Shotting, Jean Ann Shotting, Mary Jo Wilen, Patricia Seegers, and Sarah Lynn Blatnik as well as by his four grandchildren; Nicholas Blatnik, Kenneth Robert Shotting, Dustin Wilen, and Kristen Seegers.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Moon Township , PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 1, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Hancock , MD. Mr. Shotting will be laid to rest in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Hancock , MD. , next to his parents, Charles and Florence McCusker Shotting; his late wife, Sarah T. Shotting; and his sister, Mary Ellen Shotting.
