Kathleen Zimmerman

Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania

Kathleen J. Zimmerman, age 91, of Warfordsburg, and a resident of Fulton County Extended Care, in McConnellsburg, Pa., died Saturday, November 23, 2013, at the facility.

Born May 21, 1922, in Needmore, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Clyde S. and Estella O. Everts Mellott, and was the widow of Royce T. Zimmerman, who died June 13, 1993.

She was a member of Needmore Bible Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Anna Maye Sigel and husband, George E., of Warfordsburg; one son, Ronnie R. Zimmerman, of Hancock, Md.; grandchildren; B. Renee Sigel and husband, Joseph Biedenbach, of Camp Hill, Pa., G. Matthew Sigel and wife, Heather, of Hagerstown, Md., Mindy A. Somers and husband, Gary, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and April L. Hinckle, of Maugansville, Md.; great-grandchildren, Ashley B. Sigel,  and Damien Hinckle, both of Hagerstown, Md., and Elizabeth Hinckle, of Hancock, Md.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred T. Yaukey.

A service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, at 1:00 p.m., at the Needmore Bible Church.  Rev. Doug Poffenberger, Rev. Aaron Meredith, Rev. Roger Truax, and Rev. Dick Bernhard will officiate. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Christian Cemetery, Warfordsburg, Pa.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Tuesday from noon until 1:00 p.m.
