Kathleen Yvonne Mellott age 72 of Church Street, died Monday December 21, 2009 at the Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg, PA.
Born September 30, 1937 in Little Orleans, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Leroy and Flora Swain Booth.
She was formerly employed with Sagner, Inc. in McConnellsburg, PA as a seamstress and she was a homemaker.
She attended Mays Chapel Christian Church, Warfordsburg, PA.
She is survived by one daughter, Deborah D. Mellott of McConnellsburg, PA, one son, Blaine "Sonny" Mellott of Hagerstown, MD, one sister, Donna Lynch of McConnellsburg, PA, five grandchildren, Crystal Y. Covalt, Mandy J.L. Mitchell, Dustin C. Yost, Joshua A. Mellott and Kristine N. Presgraves, and eleven great grandchildren.
A service will be held Thursday December 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the Warfordsburg Presbyterian Church, Warfordsburg, PA, Rev. Edward Blank will officiate. Burial will be in the May’s Chapel Christian Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, MD, Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday 10-11 a.m. For the convenience of family and friends the funeral home will be open 2-8 p.m.
