Joyce E. Richards, age 67, of Warfordsburg, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at her home.

Born December 27, 1944, at Brownsville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ross and Agnes Redman Roberts, and the wife of Robert L. Richards, Sr., whom she married January 5, 1966, at Big Pool, Md.

She was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church, in McConnellsburg, Pa.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Timothy Bailey and wife, Lisa, of Hancock, Robert L. Richards, Jr., of Warfordsburg, Michael Richards and companion, Crissy, of Fort Littleton, Pa.; two daughters, Deborah Bolling and husband, Donald, of Taylor, Mi., and Lori McCarty and husband, Michael, of Warfordsburg; brothers, Ross Roberts, of Ca., and Jack Roberts, of Brownsville, Pa.; eighteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Velma M. Bowman; a sister, Sylvia Roberts; brothers, Tom, Melvin, Ronnie, Richard and Bill Roberts; grandchildren, Travis Bolling, Chasta Bowman and Candice Bailey.

A service will be held Friday, June 29, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, Md. Rev. John Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery, Big Cove Tannery, Pa.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
