John Homer McGraw, age 67, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018, while in the loving embrace of his wife of 38 years, Lillian “Lee” McGraw.

Born February 19, 1951, in Idamay, W.Va., he was the son of the late James and Dorothy McGraw.

John was an avid hunter, golf enthusiast, and connoisseur of Little Debbie cakes. A true disco king (if only in his mind) John loved music, stories, and laughter. He was a “good ole boy” who cherished having fun and spending time with his wife. His big belly laugh and crooked smile will stay with us forever.

In addition to his wife, Lee, he is survived by two sons, Ryan McGraw and his wife, Stephanie, of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Chris Gill and his wife, Kerrie, of Perth, Australia; six grandchildren, Kinsley McGraw, Liam Gill, Kayla Gill, Ciara Gill, Damian Gill, and Ronan Gill; one brother, James Butch McGraw and his wife, Della, of Wilmington, NC; one sister, Karen Kerns, of Maryland; as well as nieces, nephews, and friends, who may as well be family.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice O'Reily, and Bonnie Angelino.

The family is deeply grateful for the support of Hospice of Washington County and the staff of Doey’s House.

Burial will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
