Jessie Leona (Divelbliss) Bishop Gallion, age 95, of Hancock, Md., passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born Friday, November 3, 1922, in Paw Paw, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Williams) Divelbliss, and the widow of John Russell Bishop and Gilbert Earl Gallion.

She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, in Hancock, and The Mount Olivet Church Women.

Jessie is survived by four daughters, Jessie Marie Shaw and husband, Stanley, of Hancock, Anna Jean Peck and husband, John, of Warfordsburg, Pa., Mary Jane Younker, of Hagerstown, Md., and Debra McDaniels and husband, Steven, of Mount Olive, Ms.; two sons William Raymond Bishop and wife, Sharon, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Charles Filmore Bishop and wife, Jean, of Hancock; forty-one grandchildren; eighty-four great-grandchildren; forty-four great-great-grandchildren; and her companion of 30 years, Lewis Andrew "Sam" Gallion.

In addition to her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Donna M. Johnson, and Erma Rosetta Waugh; five sons, Russell Neal Bishop, Robert Franklin Bishop, Harry Lee Bishop, Randy Gallion, and Barry Lynn Gallion; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14, at 11:00 a.m., at the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church in Hancock. Rev. Philip Unger will officiate, and burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 13, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, and at the church one hour prior to services on Saturday.
