Jesse June (Price) Scriever ,94 of Buck Valley, PA passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at Williamsport Retirement Village. She was born June 23, 1931, in Little Orleans MD, the daughter of the late William Henry Harrison Price and the late Viola Evelyn (Barnes) Price. June, as she was known by friends and family, attended Flintstone High School, Flintstone MD.

As a young person, June worked various waitressing jobs including the Log Cabin Inn, Town Hill Restaurant, and Weaver’s in Hancock MD. In 1952 she began a career at Fairchild Industries (later Rohrer Industries) spanning 43 years and retiring in 1995.

June married the late Kenneth B. Scriever, prior to his deployment to Korea, in Front Royal VA, on March 23, 1951, and remained together in marriage for 69 years. June remained a steadfast warrior herself as she supported Kenneth following his combat deployment. Among her many hobbies, she enjoyed the company of her cat Molly and anything outdoors. June enjoyed mowing with her John Deere riding lawn mower, which she still used until the summer 0f 2024, raking leaves, as well as maintaining a massive garden with her husband.

June is survived by her three sons, Gregory W. Scriever of Buck Valley PA, Mark A. Scriever of Buck Valley PA and David L. Scriever and wife Amy of Williamsport, MD, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and one sister Yvonne McLean. Special thanks to niece Diane Stahle Myers as well as the staff at Williamsport Retirement Village.

June was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Price, sister Gladys Siegel, sister Helen Stahle, and sister Eileen Wigfield.

Services will be held at the Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery at the family's convenience. Donations, in her name, can be made to the Washington County Humane Society, or The Wounded Warriors Foundation.
