Ira H. Snyder, age 75, formerly of Hancock, died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Hagerstown, Md.
Born November 28, 1936, he was the son of the late Guy and Blanche Mann Snyder.
He was formerly employed by J & S Salvage, and Hepburn Orchards.
He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Carrie Gladhill, Rose Smith, and Grace Robinson; and three brothers, Theodore Snyder, Junior Snyder and Melvin Snyder.
Funeral services will be held at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, on Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Stone Bridge Brethren Cemetery, Hancock.
