Henry Stanislaus Romanowski, Sr. age 86 of Warfordsburg Road, died Saturday December 5, 2009 at his home.
Born June 15, 1923 in Baltimore City, MD, he was the son of the late Frank and Vera Peplowski Romanowski and the widower of Helen Puican Romanowski who died January, 2005.
He was Longshoreman with local
He was a member of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Baltimore, MD.
He was a life member of Arlington Lions Club of Jax, FL.
He is survived by four daughters, Toni Neally of Virginia Beach, VA, Helen Schuster of Jacksonville, FL, Veronica Baier of Hancock, MD, Ann Louise Novak of Baltimore, MD, two sisters, Stella Jaron and Christina Tiniecki all of MD, two brothers, Stanley Romanowski and Leo Romanowski all of MD. Ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. He was also preceded in death by one son, Sonny Romanowski who died September 13, 1994, four brothers, Daniel Romanowski, Milton Romanowski, Sigmund Romanowski and Chester Romanowski, two sisters, Francis Majka and Agnes Rejewski, one grandson.
A prayer service will be held Saturday morning at W. Dabrowski-Chojnacki Funeral Home, 1005 Dundalk Avenue, Baltimore, MD. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA.
The family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, MD and on Friday 4-8 p.m. at the W.Dabrowski-Chojnacki Funeral Home in Baltimore, MD.
