Heavenly McCole Blockinger, age 48, of Hancock, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at her home.

Born December 20, 1963, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of Edgar Lee and Margaret L. Hull Swisher, of Hancock.

She was a 1981 graduate of Hancock High School.

She was a beautician, and she was of the Pentecostal faith.

Besides her parents, she is survived by two sons, Jordan Landen Ray, and Logan Jacob Ray, both of Hancock; one sister, Shea Lee Hart, of Hancock; and one brother, Corey L. Swisher, of Hancock.

A service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock, Md. Rev. Carl Clark will officiate. Burial will be in the Buck Valley Christian Cemetery, in Warfordsburg, Pa.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. For the convenience of the family and friends, the Funeral Home will be open from 2 to 8 p.m., on Thursday.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, to help defray funeral expenses, memorial contributions may be made to the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. 21750-0368
