Heather Galeanne Creek, age 46, of Alexandria, Va., passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Suburban Hospital, in Bethesda, Md.

Born April 15, 1975, in Elmhurst, Illinois, she was the daughter of Dr. Donald Lee Creek, and the late Diane (Caldwell) Creek.

She had attended St. Joe’s School, in Martinsburg, W.Va.; Massanutten Military Academy, in Woodstock, Va., where she lettered in soccer; and St. James School, in Hagerstown, Md.,; before graduating from Hancock High School, where she lettered in cheerleading. She then attended Hagerstown Community College, in Hagerstown, Md.

She was employed as a secretary for the Herald-Mail newspaper, in Hagerstown, Md.

Heather’s passion was for her arts and crafts, and she had a deep love for all kinds of animals.

She is survived by her father, Dr. Donald L. Creek and his wife, Ginny, of Martinsburg, W.Va.; and her fiance, Danny Lloyd, of Alexandria, Va.

A gathering of family and friends, to celebrate Heather's life, will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md.
