Gregory Arlo Howell

Gregory A. Howell, 64, of Warfordsburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, Hagerstown, MD.

Born May 2, 1962, in Berkeley Springs, WV, he was the son of the late Elwood ”Arlo” and Linda “Dean” Howell.

Greg was a 1980 graduate of Hancock High School. He retired after serving thirty-three years as a Highway Surveyor with the Maryland State Highway Administration.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, helping his neighbors and friends, working around his farm, and spending time with his fur babies.

Greg is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Kimberly Howell of Warfordsburg, PA; one brother, Kevin Howell and wife Elena of Smithsburg, MD; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Helen Hinckle and paternal grandparents, Easton “Red” and Maxine Howell; and one brother, Kenneth Wade Howell.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
