Graham “Doug” Douglas Snow passed away at his residence in Hancock, MD on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Born Thursday, September 11, 1947, in Hancock MD, he was the son of the late Jett and Ethel Graham Snow.

Doug was a graduate of Hancock High School Class of 1965.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 26 in Hancock, MD.  He was a founding and lifetime member of the Hancock Rescue Squad. 

Doug was also a lifetime member of the Hancock Volunteer Fire Department, holding many offices throughout the years.  Most recently, he was a member of the Washington County Fire Police and Chaplin for the Hancock Volunteer Fire Department.  He also enjoyed hunting, but his passion was the Hancock Volunteer Fire Department.

Doug retired from the Maryland State Highway Roads Department with over fifty years of service. 

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister.

Doug was survived by his wife of forty years, Wanda Hoopengardener Snow; married on Tuesday, December 27, 1983.  He is also survived by one daughter, three stepdaughters, three stepsons, three grandchildren, fifteen step-grandchildren, and twenty-seven great grandchildren. 

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorial donations may be made in Doug’s name to the Hancock Volunteer Fire Department, 3 Fulton Street, Hancock, MD 21750.
