Gordon Mccusker
Gordon Clyde McCusker, age 91, of Hancock, died Friday, December 30, 2011, at his home.
Born December 25, 1920 in Hancock, he was the son of the late Arlington and Lucy Bishop McCusker. He was a 1940 graduate of Hancock High School.
He was a logger most of his life, and was later employed by the Washington County Board of Education as a guard and custodian at local schools.
He is survived by one sister, Evelyn Myers, of Hagerstown, Md.; a godson, Francis Leonard Belt, III; one niece; and five nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Durst, and Margaret McHaffey.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012, from 10 to 11:00 a.m., at the Grove Funeral Home in Hancock, with a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. George Lashley will officiate.
