Gladys Cecilia (Hensley) Morris, age 86, of Hancock, died on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Julia Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Hagerstown, Md.

Born March 24, 1930, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Carl E., Sr. and Lucy Belle Hensley.

She was the widow of Rev. James Earl Morris, Sr., who was the pastor of the Church of God on Woodmont Road, in Hancock, and who died July 19, 1984.

She was a homemaker, and a member of the Hancock Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her children, Stella Francisco, of Deltona, FL., James Earl Morris, Jr., of Hancock, Beverly Ann Boyce and husband, Rev. James Boyce, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., Jane League and husband, Ronald, of Petersburg, Va., Stanley Morris, of Hagerstown, Brian Morris, of Sanford, Fl., and Darlene Klaus and husband, Dean, of Leavenworth, Ks.; a son-in-law, Terry Smith, Sr., of Needmore, Pa.; four sisters, Margaret Kakoszka, of McConnellsburg, Pa., Claira Clark, of Warfordsburg, Pa., Dolly Hurst, of Florida, Lucy DeHaven, of Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Carl E. Hensley, Jr., of Needmore Pa.; twenty-three grandchildren; forty-five great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughters, Nina Kay Smith, Debbie Morris, and Belinda Morris; a son, Terry L. Morris; brothers, Isaac, Robert and Herbert Hensley; and a sister, Donna DeHaven.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, at 11:00 a.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock. Rev. Jason Henshaw, Rev. James R. T. Boyce and Rev. Jamie Morris will officiate. Burial will follow at Catalpa United Methodist Cemetery, Willow Road, Hancock, Md.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
