George Frush, Jr.

George Thomas. Frush, Jr., age 71, of Warfordsburg, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at his home.

Born June 18, 1941, in New York, he was the son of the late George T. Frush, Sr. and Norma Bosch Frush.

He was retired from Mack Truck, Inc., in Hagerstown, Md.

He was a high school graduate and had attended college.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley D. Hixon Frush, whom he married January 31, 2006, in Hagerstown, Md.; three daughters, Jole Elaine Workman and husband, Neal, of North Ft. Myers, Fl., Laura Funkhouser and husband, Jim, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Lesa McAdams and husband, Steve, of Wichita Falls, Tx.; four grandchildren, Sonya Mountcastle, of Hagerstown, Md., Tony Fontichiaro and wife, Britney, of Clear Spring, Md., Jasmine McAdams, and Lakisha McAdams, both of Wichita Falls, Tx.; and also 5 great-grandchildren; numerous stepchildren; and step-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md.  Rev. William Swope will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Friends will be received from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Funeral Home.

The family requests the omission of flowers, and requests that memorial contributions may be made to your local Animal Shelter.
