Gay Colleen Parker age 62 of McKinley Drive, died Monday November 2, 2009 at the Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, WV.
Born April 15, 1947 in Batavia, NY she was the daughter of Kathleen M. Hurd Mager of Batavia, NY and the late Henry J. Mager.
She was a 1964 Graduate of Notre Dame High School, Batavia, NY.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Hancock, MD where she was a church school teacher.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, David J. Parker whom she married December 28, 1974 in Batavia, NY, one daughter, Tammy Lynn Kelly of Berkeley Springs, WV, one son, Timothy Jon Rittersback and wife Dee of Batavia, NY, two sisters, Teresa A. Tamfer, Jennifer M. Jacobs and husband James all of Batavia, NY, three brothers, Richard H. Mager and wife Victoria, Michael S. Mager and Jill Smith, William D. Mager and wife Patricia all of Batavia, NY, eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua, Noah, Brooklynn, Kelly, Trevor, Travis and Tyler Rittersback, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jason Kelly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday November 6, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Rev. Jack Lombardi will be celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family requests the omission of flowers and that memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church, 16 East High Street, Hancock, MD 21750
