Gary Allen Weller, age 62, of Needmore, Pa., died on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Winchester Medical Center, in Winchester, Va.
Born Tuesday, April 27, 1954, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., he was the son of the late Michael B. and Frances (Johnson) Weller, and the husband or Shirley (McDonald) Weller, whom he married on January 26, 1974 at the Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren, in Hancock, Md.
He enjoyed drag racing, hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose 1483, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; the Mercersburg Sportsmen’s Assoc., in Mercersburg, Pa.; and the Williamsport Red Men Lodge #84, in Williamsport, Md.
He was a 1972 graduate of Hancock High School.
He was employed as a truck driver for AC&T Corp. in Hagerstown, Md., for thirty-one years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Dale Weller, of Baltimore, Md., and John Weller, Sr., of Hancock, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, from 2 until 4:00 p.m. and 6 until 8:00 p.m., at Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
