Dorothy Glendora (Miller) Imphong, age 98, of Hancock, Md., passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017, at the Julia Manor Health Care Center, in Hagerstown, Md.
Born September 19, 1918, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Cleveland D. and Ruth G. (Brant) Miller, and the widow of Paul Henry Imphong, whom she married January 4,1944, and who died September 7, 2007.
Dorothy was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Hancock, Md.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas M. Imphong and his wife, Nancy, of Carlisle, Pa., and R. Michael Imphong, of Annapolis, Md.; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Erich, Emma and Elizabeth Imphong, and Amy(Imphong) Raymond; and three great-grandchildren, Delia, Andrew and Elinor Imphong.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Miller and Virginia Shaffer.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Hancock. Rev. William K. Stottlemyer will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
