Dolly Lorraine Shives, age 72, of Hancock, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at NMS Healthcare, in Hagerstown, Md.

Born in Hancock, November 6, 1940, she was the daughter of the late John and Alverta Ambrose Pine, and the wife of the late Ronald L. Shives, Sr.

She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Butcher, of Greencastle, Pa., Lori Forsythe, of Hancock, and Misty Mentzer, of Needmore, Pa.; one son, Ronald L. Shives, Jr., of Hancock; two sisters, Bonnie Laughlin, of Upton, Pa., and Carolyn Wertner, of St. Thomas, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Drucilla Smeyers, and one brother, Johnny Pine.

A memorial service and burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.
