Dennis James Dolly, age 57, of Hancock, Md., passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center, in Hagerstown, Md.

Born January 21, 1960, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Roy, Sr. and Mary (Barnett) Dolly.

He was employed in the construction business.

Dennis loved his grandchildren; enjoyed the outdoors and cars; and he also enjoyed very long phone calls with his family, especially his aunt and best friend, “Sissy”.

He is survived by two daughters, Angel Colosimo, and her companion, Joe Smith, of Hancock, and Vicki Ammons and her husband, Scott, of Oldtown, Md.; two brothers, Roy Dolly, Jr., and Rick Dolly, both of Maryland; one sister, Janice Trail, of Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren, Ethan, Lydia, Scotty, and Brandon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle Dolly.

A memorial service will be held at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, in Hancock, on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 12:00 noon. Chaplin Jeff Casto will officiate. There will be a gathering of friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
