Delores Morris
Delores Jean Morris, age 82, of Hancock, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center, in Hagerstown, Md.
Born June 27, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Mable Suella Shoemaker, and the widow of William Edward Morris, who died December 1, 1996.
She was formerly employed with the Webster B. Harrison Post #26 American Legion, in Hancock, Md., where she was a member of the Post Auxiliary.
She is survived by one sister, Joann Bartlett, of Hancock; nieces, Sharon S. Hendershot, and Deborah Lou Reed, of Hancock, Glenda J. Divelbliss, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; great-nephews, Jeremy Lynn Reed, and Josh D. Reed, of Hancock, Ryan Hendershot, of Hagerstown, Md., and Cory True; and a great-great-niece, Ivy Hendershot, of Hagerstown, Md.
She was preceeded in death by one brother, Glen Douglas Hiles.
A service will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011, at 9:30 a.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, Md. Rev. Duane L. Jensen will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, in Hagerstown, Md.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
