Daniel W. Rohm, 64, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, in Cumberland, MD.
Born Saturday, November 18, 1961, in Berkeley Springs, WV, he was the son of Mildred H. Garland Rohm and the late Walter B. Rohm.
Daniel was a graduate of Southern Fulton High School, Class of 1981. He worked and was very passionate about his sawmilling and farming. He also worked as a mason for Powell’s Masonry.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Little Orleans Volunteer Fire Company for over twenty-five years and a member of Amaranth Church of the Brethren.
Daniel is survived by his mother Mildred H. Garland Rohm of Warfordsburg, PA; two sisters, Sharon Hendrickson of Warfordsburg, PA, and Joyce Walters of Upper Strasburg, PA; two nieces, Shawna Hengst and Amanda Dubbs; two nephews, Joe Hendrickson and Steve Dubbs; one aunt, Sylvia Powell; one uncle, Fred Rohm; six great nieces, Alexis, Sara, Adrianna, Alexus, Allie, and Abigail; and one great nephew, Ethan.
In addition to his father, he is predeceased by one brother, James Brooks Rohm and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 11:00a.m. at Amaranth Church of the Brethren, 2709 McKees Gap Road, Warfordsburg, PA, with a two-hour prior visitation from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. Pastors Michael Lida and Carl Sipes will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Daniel’s name can be made to the Amaranth Church of the Brethren, 2709 McKees Gap Road, Warfordsburg, PA 17267, and Little Orleans Volunteer Fire Company, 12210 Orleans Rd NE, Little Orleans, MD 21766.
