Christopher Mccarty

Christopher John McCarty 64, of Hancock MD passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009.

Born on July 7, 1945, he was the son of the late Harold E. McCarty Sr. and Annie George Cunningham.

He was a 1963 graduate of Hancock High School .

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.  He was a past member of the Boy scouts of America and a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Hancock , MD.

He is survived by ex spouse, Linda K. McCarty of Hancock , MD. One daughter, Melissa N. Crampton and husband Tom of Clear Spring, MD.  One granddaughter, Madison Ruth Crampton.  Two brothers, Harold E. McCarty Jr of Marshall , VA and Timothy A. McCarty of Hagerstown , MD.

There will be no viewing.  Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2 East High Street , Hancock , MD 21750 .
