Charles Luther Williams, age 78, of Big Cove Tannery, Pa., passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at his home.

Born on Friday, December 30, 1938, in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late Charles Walker and Violet (Powell) Williams. He was the husband of Mollie (Smith) Williams for forty years of marriage.

He was a member of Antioch Christian Church, in Big Cove Tannery.

He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force, and he was owner/operator of Mol-Lyn Machine Shop.

He loved his collection of antique cars, golfing and gardening.

In addition to his wife, Mollie, he is survived by daughters Ronnie Mens and Carrie Bruce; and sons, Tony Williams, Nick Williams, Douglas Hancock, Bobby Hancock and John Hancock.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jane Ferguson and Darlene Buzgerski; and two sons, Randy and Tony Hancock.

The family will receive friends at the Antioch Christian Church, 7902 Timber Ridge Road, Big Cove Tannery, on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m., where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Russ Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the Antioch Christian Church.

Arrangements were handled by the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock, Md.
