Bobby E. Taylor, age 65, of Big Pool, died Sunday, August 5, 2012, at his home.

Born November 2, 1946, in Greenville, N.C., he was the husband of Shirley B. Bloom Taylor, whom he married October 10, 1983, in Lewistown, Md.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam war, and a member of the Francis Scott Key Post #11 American Legion, in Frederick, Md.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters; one son; two brothers; one sister; and a number of grandchildren; and step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., on Thursday, August 8, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m., where a Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, to help defray expenses, contributions may be made to the Grove Funeral Home at the above address.
