Belvin Leroy Mann

Belvin Leroy Mann, 82, of Hancock, MD, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born Sunday, August 1, 1943, in Washington County, MD, he was the son of the late Espey and Margaret Roman Flowers Mann.

Belvin was a 1961 graduate of Hancock High School. He was the founder of Mann’s Construction and worked for more than fifty-five years. He was a life member and former president of Tonoloway Rod and Gun Club, Hancock, MD.

He was a farmer at heart. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Belvin is survived by his loving wife of sixty-four years, Margaret Mann; two daughters, Pamela Mann of Hancock, MD, Teresa ‘Joy’ Mann McSparron, of Hancock, MD; three sons Belvie ‘Leroy’ Mann and wife Teresa of Hancock, MD, Steven Mann and wife Annie of Williamsport, MD, and Dale Mann of Hancock, MD; eight grandchildren, Jayme Bartles, Jennifer Otwell and husband Jacob, Maxwell Reynolds and wife Autumn, Jodie McSparron and companion Conner Lachemann, Sarah Norris and husband Brady, Ean Mann and wife Abigail, Holden Mann, and Hudson Mann; five great-grandchildren, Clayton Bartles, Jean Bartles, Maxwell Reynolds, Oaklyn Reynolds, and Wrenley Norris; and two brothers, Larry Mann and Carl ‘Bob’ Flowers.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by seven brothers, Albert Mann, Marvin Mann, Bruce Mann, Melvin Mann, Donald Mann, Homer Flowers, and Harold Flowers; three sisters, Pauline Mann Hixon, Delores Flowers Lucas, and Shelvy Jean Flowers McCusker; and one son-in-law, Joseph McSparron.

Visitation will be held at Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 W. Main Street, Hancock, MD 21750, on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. and 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. A rosary service will be held at 7:00p.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:00a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 16 E. High Street, Hancock, MD 21750. Celebrant Father Jack Lombardi will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Belvin’s name can be made to St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Hancock, MD.
