Alexander David Faith (1962-2025)

Alexander David Faith, 62, of Big Pool, Md. Born on December 19, 1962, was sent to his eternal home on November 10, 2025, surrounded by his family at Meritus Medical Center. He was the beloved son of Reed Stanley Faith and Nancy Marie Faith (Poe).

Alex, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on earth was one marked by Love, Compassion, and Unwavering Faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. Alex enjoyed the simple things in life, like running his tractors, hunting with his son, cutting wood, collecting antique lanterns and spending time with Purdy (his dog). He was part of the graduating class of Clear Spring High School of 1981.

Alex is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Bonnie Jane Faith (Mills) of Big Pool, Md. His one and only son David Faith (Kaylyn) of Big Pool, Md. His brothers Mark (wife Diane) Faith of Hancock, Md. Steve (wife Rebecca) Faith of Greencastle, Pa. He also leaves behind 4 nieces and 1 nephew.

He was a Presiding Elder and a member of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob. He recently retired on August 1, 2024, from General Motors of Martinsburg, WV, where he worked for 40+ years. He also worked at B&O Railroad and Weavers Paving.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 West Main St, Hancock, MD on Saturday November 15, 2025, at 11:00a.m. with one hour prior visitation. Officiating the services will be Adv. Pr. Elder Israel Brooks. Interment will follow at Shanktown Cemetery, Big Pool, MD.
